Frequently asked questions

How do price alerts work?

Create an alert with a target price and a direction (above or below). Our server watches the market and sends your device a push notification the moment gold crosses your target — even if the app is closed. You can make an alert one-time or repeating.

Why does the app ask for notification permission?

Notifications are how price alerts reach you. If you decline, you can still use the charts, technicals and news, but you won't receive alerts. You can enable notifications later in iOS Settings → Notifications → Gold Price Live.

I'm not receiving alert notifications

• Check that notifications are enabled for the app in iOS Settings.
• Make sure the alert is switched on and hasn't already fired (one-time alerts turn off after firing).
• Confirm your device has a network connection.
• Still stuck? Email us the alert details and we'll investigate.

How do I read a specific candle's price?

On the chart, touch and hold a candle, then slide your finger — the top-left legend shows that candle's Open, High, Low and Close.

Where does the data come from?

Charts, technical ratings and news come from TradingView. Prices may be delayed and are provided for information only — nothing in the app is financial advice.

How do I delete my data?

Delete your alerts in the app (they're removed from our server on sync), or delete the app entirely — your push token is then purged automatically. See our Privacy Policy for details.
